How do I rent a car at VIPRENT?

It’s really easy! Choose a car You like on our website. Contact our manager. Finalise details. Make a payment, leave the deposit and You are good to pick up the car !

Accepted Payment methods?

We accept direct bank transfers, cash, crypto payments. Payments details You will find in the VIPRENT invoice. Invoice You will get after we make a Rental Agreement.

Can I rent a car and pay from another bank account?

No. The bank account holder who is paying for the booking must be the main driver, as they will be named in the Rental Agreement.

Can You deliver a rented car?

Yes, we offer delivery and pick-up service. Service cost depends on the location where we have delivery rented car.

Should I inspect a vehicle for damage before leaving?

All VIPRENT cars are inspected by our trained team upon return. Before leaving the facility, you can inspect the vehicle for damage and notify one of our agents if you see something that is not noted on your rental agreement.

What if I haven’t received any confirmation for my booking?

We confirm most bookings straight away after we receive the payment according to our Rental Agreement. If You haven’t received confirmation by email within 48 hours, please contact us by email or by phone and we will solve it.

If You want to extend Your rental time, please call us and we will see if it’s possible. Maybe we can offer alternative car to You. Your rates are subject to change based on the length of your rental extension. Usually the longer you keep the vehicle, the better deal you’ll receive because you can then take advantage of our weekly and monthly rates.

Pets in the car?

Yes, you can bring pets in most VIPRENT cars. IMPORTANT to return your rental car in clean condition and free of pet hair and smells to avoid a cleaning fee of up to 450 EUR.

What should I do if I'm involved in an accident?

What should I do if the keys are lost?

In case of loss of the car keys, you must immediately contact us by phone. VIPRENT will send you the replacement keys as soon as possible. You will be charged a fee for losing the keys.

No, smoking is not allowed in VIPRENT cars. We want to ensure that all our customers drive in a comfortable, clean car. A cleaning fee of up to 450 EUR may be applied to the person who will smoke in the rented car.

You can drive your rental car only within Spain, but if you wish to drive abroad, please contact us to discuss possible arrangements and pricing.

Kilometers range per rental period

If you have driven more kilometers than were included in your Rental Agreement, the overage will be charged when you return the vehicle at VIPRENT.

What if I'm late to return a rented car?

Rental car reservations are based on a daily, 24-hour rate. If a rental car is returned beyond the 24-hour period, the renter will be charged an additional daily rate. Make sure to return your vehicle on time to avoid extra fees

Do I have to refuel the vehicle before I return it?

All VIPRENT cars must be refueled to the same level that you received at the time of pick up.

Penalties after car return

If you were speeding or do not pay for parking, you are liable for all costs during the rental period. VIPRENT will issue You an Invoice and will send it with a request to pay it.

Can I return my car earlier?

At VIPRENT, we do not charge customers more for returning a car earlier, and you will be charged for the days you had a Rental Agreement with us.

If new damage is discovered on the vehicle, it will be noted when the vehicle is returned to VIPRENT. Our Claims Department will investigate the damage claim and you will be charged the applicable cost of repair.

Deposit & Cancellation

How much is the deposit for my rental?

The deposit range is various and is based on the car category, cost of the rental, length of the rental. In general, it should be 1000 EUR. The deposit for high-value vehicles may be higher.

Once you return the car without damage, the deposit amount will be refunded to your bank account. This transaction usually takes from 7 to 21 working days to appear. Contact your bank first in order to check it.

The cancellation fee varies depending on when you cancel. If You cancel 48 hours or more before your pick-up time, you will be charged a 20% cancellation fee (plus tax). If you cancel less than 48 hours before your pick-up time, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee (plus tax). After cancellation, your payment – minus the cancellation fee – will be refunded to the bank account indicated on Rental Agreement. You can cancel your reservation by sending us email or calling us by phone. Please note: if you do not cancel your Your booking prior to the start of Your rental, You will be charged the full rental price — even if you do not pick up the car.
